Partial team update:
Kale, Tadashi and Dev are all in New Zealand right now doing some pre-season training. Sounds like Kale's not quite ready to hang up his shorts for the summer. According to my sources, the photo above is an acurate depiction of how Kale's trip is going so far. Still no updates from Tadashi and Dev but keep posted.
Skid of the day:
Sent in by the crew at Totally Deadly productions. Taken early July. This shot features the J Man and K man in mid skid during the filming of 15 Peddler 3.1. Kale News:
Kale is a true progressionist "yes I invented the word". Never happy with what's readily available, Kale approaches every aspect of life with the intent of "finding a better way". When it comes to Kale's company "A-hole" he has the same attitude. Check out the latest from A-hole. Kale calls it "Eat hole".
Its less a ninja mask and more of a sumo mask. The slightly larger "Eat hole" allows people to taste or even eat food without compromising the warmth and privacy provided by the "Eat whole" mask. Keep an eye out for a full line of A-hole products available this winter.

FYI: The Federalley's shut us down for the last couple weeks but we're back. They thought any blog this fun must be illigal. 3 weeks of investigation and we came up clean. Now back to business.

Team news correction: DD-man got left out of Mondays team update totally by accident and dam was he upset with me. Lets just say I got an ear full. So here's his update. DD has been spending his days signing checks, taking care of household chores, purchasing fine bottles of wine, snacking on delicious cheese, hanging with the MICE, setting up road blocks and making sandwiches....Ahhh!!! Got ya. Just messing with you about the sandwiches. I could list a couple sandwich makers out there but that wouldn't be very classy now would it.
Smoke Dogg went all out and got himself the best possible frosty tackler induced sunburn a buzzed out weekend would allow. All this just to make sure there was no missing him moon us on his last day on the job. Smoke Dogg, we'll miss you buddy!
P-man is so confident he's gonna take home "Rep of the Year" he went out and bought a suit over the weekend. The award ceremony is just over 6 months away... Now that's proactive!

Kale is now riding for Endeavor. He signed the contract yesterday afternoon and the press release followed minutes after. I would have posted it but the word document was to big for my inbox.

Last Thursday nigth Slayer came to Vancouver and Wow! What a show...
Horns were thrown, heads were banged, muffin medicine was consumed, drinks were tossed, fights were started and people went to jail. What else could you wish for. Here's a couple blurry eyed shots from the show.

Remember on June 15th when I said Kale came in the office for the afternoon to give me hand. Well he did but only for about a half hour. The rest of the day he was here doing what he does best.

Switch "the movie"
Not sure if you've heard but an independent film about a shred love triangle is in the works. Sounds gnarly right... Wait it gets better, the name of the film is Switch and mega shred heartthrob Chris Brown plays the lead. I know you don't believe me and I don't blame you. Check out the teaser for yourself. Kale cools off after a hot day on the glacier.
Well we rounded up the the crew and hit Blackcomb for a little shred sesh up at the Camp of Champions Monday. Wow was it ever toasty hot up there. Lucky for me Kale had an extra Air Hole "Ninja Mask" or I would of fried and been stuck with the dreaded "GT". Yep that's right "goggle tan". As soon as we got down off the mountain it was straight to Rainbow for a refreshing little dip. It definitely beat my usual Monday routine at the office. Zeddy Does Europe!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well everybody, our Zeddy is all grown up. In just over a week he's shipping off to the Motherland. Yep, the Zman's going to be spending the next six months of his life in Europe. I know he hasn't really been too visible on the blog since his strike in December but that's all about to change. Zeddy has promised me he'll be giving us 2 posts worth a of photo's, video's and stories a month to keep us updated on how his trip is progressing. Expect the first one by the end of July.
Kale news:
I don't even think there's words to describe how good this clip of Kale truly is. Post bar snacks usually tend to be on the messy side but like usual Kale takes it to the next level. Hope your long weekend is as good to you as this late night pie is to Kale. Enjoy, Kale sure did!

I'm exactly 5 hours away from getting my hands on what could possibly be the best non shred Kale footage to date. Last time I saw the footage was about a month ago at about 4 in the morning and I've been trying to get my hands on it ever since. Tomorrow will be a great day.

Dev's day at the office:
Devun Walsh showed up to the office yesterday wearing a turtle neck. I thought turtle necks were just torture devices parents used to punish their kids. I didn't think anyone would ever wear one by choice. Just incase your forgot yesterday was the first day of summer... He desperately tried to convince us the article of clothing he was wearing wasn't a turtle neck at all and that its proper discription was infact a "mock neck". He might of fooled Steve but I didn't buy it. That thing was straight turtled.
Dev's visit was cut short when he remembered he had to go to the pet store to pick up a new lifejacket for his dog.

A couple 4am calls from DD and J bone this morning tells me things got extremly dusty up in Whistler last night. I'm not going to get into details but the stories were worth being woken up for. Don't fight it boys, "Class" has officially been thrown out the window for summer. Yeaaahh!!!!
Hung out with Kale at his local skate park up in Squamish last weekend.

True story, I swear.....
Team captain/ IS Design owner Devun Walsh had a little accident at his house in North Vancouver this morning. While finishing off some renovations in his washroom Dev sliced his finger on his newly installed shower drain. He was rushed to the hospital where they used two stitches to close his gaping wound. The trauma must of been a little overwhelming for Dev because on his way out of the hospital he fainted. He awoke on the ground with a small bump on the head feeling slightly disoriented. He's now out home recovering from the days events. Don't worry he's expected to make a full recovery. Get well Dev...

Things have been pretty hectic over here lately. Lucky for me Kale has been coming by to help out when ever he can. Here's a little clip of Kale in action.
Kooley came to Vancouver for a little visit earlier this week. That's him in the middle of Paul and Duff not looking.
When we weren't skating, eating or drinking caesars Kooley was painting. He loves the color yellow and hates the color pink.
We shot Kooley and Dev's ads Tuesday. Keep an eye out for them in future issues of Transworld Snowboarding. They're pretty choice!
Have I ever mention Kooley's tall? Infact he's the tallest rider on I.S. Even when he's crouching he's taller then most of the guys on the team. Look for yourself...
That black stuff on Kooley's arm isn't elbow grease its one of his new Tattoo's.
Kooley, you forgot your arm ointment in my truck. Let me know if you want it sent out in your next package. If I don't hear from you by 6pm Today I'm tossing it. It creeps me out.

It only took about 7 months but Jon Kooley is finally ready to come back to Vancouver for his first visit of 06. He fly's in Monday so if you live in the Vancouver area don't be suprized if you see his long narrow self skate by at one of our 300 new skate parks.

Joel sent me a happy hooker t-shirt last week, Dev almost got me stabbed at his stag, Duff & Dionne are in Hawaii at Dev's wedding, Kale burnt his leg on his dirt bike while testing new air hole masks, Alex hasn't eatin poutine in over 36 hours, Kooley grew three inches, Mikey shrunk an inch, Wille finally got top score on Dance Dance Revolution at his local arcade, Chucky made sandwiches then delivered them to all his best friends and Tadashi ate dinner with a fork.
Rap news:
Rap just keeps getting better. We've featured some serious hip hop on the blog the last couple entry's and I'ma keep keeping it real Today. I know this isn't the newest video out there but if you haven't seen it you need to. This could be the future of rap.

Its on, J Mang Z's got beef and its with the Blazin Hazen. Rumor has it that the beef goes way back to when they were roommates in college. Apparently they were both after the same girl and J Mang Z ended up with her. Blazin was so mad at J Mang Z he snuck into his room in the middle of the night and dumped a full vacuum bag of dust all over J and his new lady. This is were J Mang Z's hate for dust began. Word on the streets is J Mang Z has referred to Blazin as "Dust" ever since the incident further enforcing J Mang Z's new single "U know dat I hate dust!" is really a diss track directed at the Blazin Hazen. Blazin who's a little more commercial comes right back out with this track but his disses are a little more subtle so not to upset his record label. Don't fool yourself though, when he's talking about other MC's you know all that firepower is aimed straight at J Mang Z. Check the video for yourself.

Dev had a second stag like event last Friday. Felt like my stag Saturday morning. Wow, shots are definite class killers.

I talked to Tadashi on the phone for a good three minutes Today. I think that's our record. Whats more is I actually understood some of what he was saying. I'm 100 percent sure he just got back from Alaska and it was a long three day drive home. The rest is a little unclear.

Stopped by Kale's house on the way back from Whistler last night. Got some good news for all you Ahole fans out there, they now have Ahole t-shirts for sale.

When I asked Kale "how do people go about getting an Ahole T-shirt of their own"
he said "Give them mine and Browners cell numbers".............. After giving it a little more thought he decided to go with his e-mail address instead. If you want to buy one of these limited edition Ahole t's e-mail Kale right away before they're all gone.

Hope everyone who celebrates Easter had a great Easter long weekend. I know I did.
Stopped by Kale's on the way up to Whistler on Saturday night. His place is amazing. There's so much crazy crap all over the place its impossible to take everything in, way too overwhelming. Lucky for me Kale played tour guide through his place pointing out all the important stuff he wanted me to check out. It would take a novel to list all the extremely outrageous possessions he and his mom carefully arranged throughout the house so I'll focus on my favorite. Kale calls it "the bird gang". Yeah exactly, what the hell is a bird gang?? I'm not sure I completely understand myself but I'll try to explain it the best I can. Think massive fish tank. Now drain that tank and add a bunch of dead birds. There you go "the bird gang". Don't worry I'll post a photo of it soon or better yet a little video clip.
Kale, Paul Gonzales, Colin Adair and myself went up Brandy Wine over the weekend for a little story for SBC.
Here's a little video clip of Kale getting rad. There's a bunch more where that came from but you'll have to wait until tomorrow.
The MICE (DD Man, K Man, J Man and K Man) were reunited over the weekend for the first time in years. Many "mice traps" were distributed. Highlights included the J Man rapping about how much he hates dust, the J Man catching a lobster named Harold and partying with him all weekend and the J Man methoding off every jump in sight with total disregard for his personal safety. Its safe to say he was the weekends MVD.
Duff's been getting borderline "office boy" lately. I've even supplied him with a chair of his own for his daily visits.

The first ever Office Booyz "the contest" went down yesterday up at Grouse Mountain. Early morning rain and serious fog had me doubting we 'd have much of a turnout but I totally underestimated the power of free coffee and donuts. Check out some highlights from the event.

Actually he made much more of an appearance then I can safely show without the risk of the furious blog loosing him again. Just so you know we'll be easing back into the Zeddy features very gently. We should be right back to where we left off by May.
