Squirrel Launcher
DDman has put his extreme animal calander project on hold and has repositioned his focus on squirrels. He's currently working with the Discovery channel on a new extreme squirrel show. Be prepared, his show will definitely piss some people off.
Here's a little sample of what you can expect.
I believe the squirrel actually enjoyed the ride, landed on his feet and is fine. Jenn on the other hand is convinced its either dead or at the least broke its poor little paw. If anyone reading this happens to be a squirrel scientist please leave a comment with your profesional opinion.

In the beginning....
When I first started up the furious blog I was really into messing with my co-workers which didn't really have anything to do with our brand or products expect for the fact that the people I was messing with worked for I.S. Design. No one really said anything or questioned what I was up to. People seemed to like it so I just kept on with that as my theme. The furious blog kind of just evolved into a place where I could mess with people and basically make myself laugh. Sure I've pissed a few people off a little but its always been in good fun. Probably the worst thing that went down was when Dev banned me from posting anything to do with him for a full year. I think it only lasted a couple months... Haha, funtimes.
I'm not sure exactly how it came about but I stumbled across this site with a bunch of sweet record art from the 70's that cracked me up. I guess a little light bulb went off in my head and i knew I had to incorporate them into my theme some how. The photoshop image shown below is probably my favorite of a series of maybe 3 that I did. When Jarrod "who no longer works with us but still keeps up with the blog" saw it he actually teared up. I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty proud of this one.

There's so much good stuff going on in this photo I don't even know where to start. The shorts? The hair? The facial expression? The neck rolls? In my eyes its all gold.
If you want to see more go the 2004 archive..

Ross Bong/ Raven style
Hey remember snowboard gold medalist Ross Rebagliati?

No he's not on our team but when we were in Big White on the set of the movie Shred JF did make Ross do a beer bong.

Judging by the look on his face Ross wasn't expecting the bong to be loaded with beer...
Talking about looks on face's check out the one on IS Design sales manager Steve Day's face.

Now that's intensity!

A bike trip down memory lane.
If you've been reading this blog for awhile you may remember the Zoney Tail. Its an epic photo that inspired a t-shirt graphic that never actually came to fuition. The idea of making the shirt still does come up every once in awhile so It could very well happen one day. Don't worry if it does this is where you'll find out about it. So I was taking a little strole down memory lane all the way back to the furious blog 2004 archive and stumbled upon legendary Zoney tail photo.

It totally reminded me that Zeddy use to ride his fix gear bike in Geman bike ballet events across Europe. He was dam good too.
After over 10 years of trainning like 20 hours a day and having to put his hair up into a bun everytime he performed, Zeddy got so burnt on the whole thing he moved to Canada and quit bike ballet for good. Zeddy actually just started riding again a couple weeks ago... After his first day back on his bike he turned and looked at me and said "Now I remember why I started biking in the first place". True story...

Zeddy in action/ Office airplane

Featured in the photo above are the Rosedales. To find out more about the 2007 collection go to the product section of the site.

I showed our art director this photo of Zeddy and he suggested I post it. So there you have it, an action shot of the Zman cool as ice with a lay back no hander, sunglasses and no doubt on his way to score more smokes..
Special I.S. office moment:

Kale and Baby Girl
Kale News: Kale and his lady got a new puppy a month or so ago. They named it Baby Girl Stephens. True story...
I did a little interview with Dave England a couple weeks ago and finally got around to transcribing it on Sunday. He's a pretty funny guy. One of the questions I asked was if he currently had any projects on the go. He started telling me about this Bionic Dolphin documentary him and his friend were working on. You know I had to hunt down the trailer on Youtube and I'm glad I did. Here's what I found.

Newish Still Bastards Teaser!!!
This is the first rough version of the second Still Bastards teaser we whipped up just messing around before Dev came up with the whole Bob and Doug thing. It has a different intro and some unseen/extended clips. We'll have a whole new teaser up at the end of the month so keep posted.

Team news: Chucky called me yesterday to tell me he partied with Dickie. He said it was out of hand but couldn't get into details because his mom was near by.. If you've ever seen Dickie Pricklesteen's myspace page you know exactly what kind of party it was. Chucky's uncle Kale has been doing a little stunt work for the movie "Shred" staring Dave England, Tom Green and Renee Renee. I was told photo's are on the way.. Story of my life.. Above: Chucky feeling it.

Ex blog super star Zeddy has been spotted around Vancouver partying his socks off and smoking like a true Frenchmen. Zeddy and Jman who are both part of TBDG "the bike drinking gang" were out in full force Saturday. It was the first TBDG gathering of the year and not even twenty minutes after Jman shows up he gets hit by a Greek business man in a full sized white Mr. Sub Van.. I know... Un freakin' believable. It was like an action sequence out of "Children of men" which by the way Jman hated. He flew a good 5 to 10 feet before hitting the middle of the intersection. Remarkably Jman jumped back up to his feet without a scratch on him. If it all works out as planned TBDG will have our very own personal sandwich maker... Above: Zeddy and the Jman.
